As always, we would like to keep you updated with developments at The Oxford Artisan Distillery as we continually adapt throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
With the country in full lockdown it is with a heavy heart that our distillery is once again closed to all visitors, including the shop and our tours. Our website is well-stocked and fully operational, with our team and warehouse working with safety our number one priority. Delivery continues to be free (and contact free) across the UK mainland.
We are following the latest UK government advice and best practices, and we will continue to review our response to the pandemic as the situation changes. We will reopen our distillery as soon as it is safe to do so and all tour bookings will be moved to a future date, with no set expiry date for existing bookings or vouchers.
We take cleanliness at the distillery very seriously and can assure you that:
Your favourite spirits can be ordered online and delivered to your doorstep for free across the UK mainland. At the moment delivery times are slightly extended and your purchase should arrive within three to four working days.
If you live locally you may find that we deliver your order personally within two working days.
Orders purchased on our website will be left on your doorstep, adhering strictly to social distancing guidelines. We ask you to stay at least 2 metres away from our delivery driver.
Our distillery tours are temporarily suspended. We will continue to monitor government advice and review our tour schedule as soon as we are in a position to do so. Our community means everything to us and, for now, this is how we can best protect our staff and customers.
When our tours rebooking postponed tours will be our priority. You will be sent an email in due course if you have tickets to a postponed tour.
Tour vouchers can still be bought online without the need to specify a date.
Please do not hesitate to email or call us if you have any questions about a pre-booked tour or a new booking.
The Oxford Artisan Distillery is making hand sanitiser for Oxfordshire care homes, hospitals and the local community. We distribute sanitiser for free to individuals in need, distribute at cost to local charitable organisations and for a small fee to commercial organisations. As a small local distillery we are limited in how much we can do but with your support we can do more - please visit our gofundme page to find out more.
Our hand sanitiser follows the World Health Organisation’s recommended formulation of alcohol. All donations will be used to produce more hand sanitiser for those who need it most during the COVID-19 outbreak.
